The Human Resources function of the Corporate Services department is handling staff and their requirements in terms of common labour law and a healthy working environment. The H.R. function handles training, skills development, employment, performance, labour relations, health & safety and labour policy among other staff issues.
LEGAL SERVICES AND SECRETARIAT
MANAGER: Mr. C.F Dlamini
Corporate services’ legal function handles the municipality’s general legal requirements and representation in legal matters. Legal is also responsible for regulating and checking compliance for town planning, by-laws, tariffs, and drafting contracts such as S.L.A.s.
Secretarial services are the basic services that make any office run in an organized manner, e.g. council agenda, by-laws review, committee work printing, and copying.

Records Management is a process of ensuring the proper creation, maintenance, use, and disposal of records throughout their life cycle to achieve efficient, transparent, and accountable governance and ensures that all the records that are created and maintained adhere to legal requirements, organizational policies, and best practices for information management of Chief Albert Luthuli Municipality
